Cookies and local browser storage are different technologies. This page describes the storage currently used by the website and the external services involved in browsing.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small values stored by a browser and sent with relevant requests to a website. Local storage remains in the browser and is not automatically sent with each request.
2. Language preference
When you choose RO or EN, the website saves that choice in local storage under the key sd-lang. It contains only the language code, is not a cookie and is used to remember your requested language. It has no automatic expiry and remains until cleared from browser storage.
3. Analytics and advertising
The current website does not initialise advertising pixels or an audience analytics tool. No consent banner for such tools is currently needed because these tools are not enabled. Any future optional tracking must remain inactive until the required consent has been obtained.
4. External requests and links
Google Fonts and media hosting services receive requests to display fonts, images and films. Social networks, WhatsApp and Google Maps are accessed through external links, not social tracking widgets embedded in the page. Once you follow a link, the external service may use its own cookies. Hosting-level cookies and technical storage must also be checked on the final production domain before this policy is finalised.
5. Browser controls
You can remove the saved language by clearing this website's site data in your browser. Browser settings also allow you to block or delete cookies, including those of external websites. Clearing site data may reset your language preference.
