The quiet room I keep returning to

Some rooms don't ask for attention. That's exactly why I remember them.

The quiet room I keep returning to

There is a room I go back to in my head whenever a project gets too loud.

The quiet room I keep returning to
Morning light, nothing added.

It has one window, one chair and a wall that changes colour three times a day. Nothing in it is trying to impress. And yet everything is exactly where it should be.

“Silence is also a material.”

I keep the photos as a reminder: restraint is a decision, not an absence.
