Modrogan

An apartment that stayed close to my heart. Made for renting, on Modrogan Street, one of the most beautiful places in Bucharest, in an interwar building.
Our office was nearby, so the site was easy to follow. But the truth is I often went there for no reason at all, just to feel how the air of the apartment changed from one day to the next.
There were many interventions, each with its purpose. We turned two rooms into three, with two bedrooms, and added a bathroom. We worked with light wood, rattan, terrazzo tiles and warm light, keeping the character of the building and giving it a new life.
And the veranda became my special place. Large windows, the green outside, light coming in from every side.
We built a beautiful relationship with the clients, and I even had the chance to sleep there for a night. An investment made for rent, but with all the care you put into a home you would live in yourself.
