Str. Roma

An apartment on Roma Street, in a building designed by Horia Creangă. When you work in architecture like this, you need immense respect and a step back. If not several.
The clients wanted to live in the apartment while the work went on, so everything was done in pieces, room by room, patiently and carefully, so that their everyday life could continue.
The biggest challenge was the bedroom, which had a column right at the entrance. Instead of hiding it, we built it into the furniture and made it part of the story.
And the inspiration came from them. I let myself be carried by their playful nature, the child in them, their free and adventurous spirit, their travels. That's how the terracotta tones appeared, the circles and arches, the shelves full of objects with a story and the contrast of a dark hallway opening towards the light.
A home that respects its past, but smiles.
