One Herăstrău

An apartment in One Herăstrău, where the layout allowed me something you can't do just anywhere: to work with a dark wood without fearing it would weigh the space down. Light and proportion made room for depth.
The brief from the client was simple. Her references were holiday pictures from hotels in Mexico: a holiday feeling, but a curated one. Clean, orderly, beautiful. With discipline in the design and attention to every detail.
So everything was chosen with great care. The dark wood wrapping the walls and bookcases, cognac-coloured leather, textures you want to touch, a tropical wallpaper that brings a breeze from far away, curtains that filter the light like a quiet afternoon. Materials meant to offer a sensory experience, not only a visual one.
A home where every day feels a little like a holiday. But one where everything is in its place.
